Background: We've found you may not need one of our thick and embroidered hockey State Sweaters in the middle of the summer. You may want to show your state hockey pride in something a little lighter, so we're adding tees, sweatshirts, and a couple more items to our lineup to satisfy that need. 

The story: We needed a more unique rendition to celebrate the state of North Carolina, so we took our own spin on a Wright Brothers inspired hockey shirt. "First in Flight" is well known to NC as seen on the license plate, state quarter, and more. For the design we went old school to represent the iconic era of the Wright Brothers. Lastly, 89 is of course a nod to NC statehood as they joined the union in 1789.

The fit: The fiber is a blend of cotton and polyester (80/20).

The seams have ribbed knitting. Durability is further assured by the inclusion of neck tape backing. As such, the collars are elastic and stretchy. Runs true to size.
