Background: The concept of this product has been in the works for over three years. How can we showcase hockey history in a unique yet sophisticated manner? With this help of a watch craftsman we solved the puzzle on how to upcycle historic used hockey sticks into classic timepieces.

This limited edition watch is constructed using the iconic 1985 Christian Northern Pro hockey stick employed by famous NHLers and the public they inspired.

Why we chose this stick: It’s hard to think of a U.S. hockey brand and not think first of Christian Hockey. Christian Brothers, Inc. and the Christian family have been intertwined with U.S. hockey history since the 1960s. The original Christian brothers served as part of the 1960 gold-medal winning U.S. Olympic team. Shortly thereafter they returned home and started making their own sticks in 1964. The passion caught on and the company stayed in business for over four decades seeing use by other NHLers and Olympic gold medalists such as Dave Christian (1980), Bill Baker (1980), Buzz Schneider (1980), and more. This model represents the peak of of the northern Minnesota company and the Northern PRO model was the top choice for many. For the reasons above, it was hard not to include a Christian hockey stick in this first batch of historic hockey watches.

Limited Edition: Only 25 of this design are available for purchase based on the available wood material in the stick.
