Background: The concept of this product has been in the works for over three years. How can we showcase hockey history in a unique yet sophisticated manner? With this help of a watch craftsman we solved the puzzle on how to upcycle historic used hockey sticks into classic timepieces.

This limited edition watch is constructed using an original 1972 Louisville Bomber hockey stick employed by the earliest generation of Louisville/TPS hockey players.

Why we chose this stick: This was one of our coolest finds of the last year. Louisville entered the hockey scene in 1966, but most people associate the brand with baseball. Remember the Louisville Slugger? It was Louisville's most famous bat, but also a wood hockey stick line. The Louisville Bomber however came first and it stood alone as one of the first models made by the iconic company. The Bomber was an all ash design produced in Canada and it was highly sought after in the late 60s and early 70s by amateurs, before the Slugger and other models made their NHL debuts in the mid 70s. Getting one of the original Louisville sticks made it prime to be included in our hockey watch series.

Limited Edition: Only 25 of this design are available for purchase based on the available wood material in the stick. Each watch is accompanied with a placard showing its place in the collection.
