The Aviator Model

We've been dreaming up the Aviator since we first introduced our Frontier gloves in 2023. Inspired by the leather and shearling flight jackets worn by WWII aircrews, the Aviator takes the classic construction of our Frontier and reimagines it as a purpose-built outdoor hockey glove.

Genuine leather. Shearling lining. Built for cold days on outdoor ice.

The Construction: Built on the same improved protective construction as our 2.0 Genuine Leather Frontier gloves, with a lightweight shearling lining added for warmth. The interior is shearling-lined with the exception of the palm side of the hand—a construction we've used in our Pioneer models since 2014.

The Sizing: Available in adult 13", 14" and 15" sizes with traditional four-roll construction.

The Leather: Genuine leather exterior designed to wear in and develop character over time.

The Logo: Like the Frontier, we kept the branding understated with a subtle debossed Third Assist logo that lets the leather do the talking.

The Feel: A black Nash palm and gussets preserve the traditional feel of a hockey glove while the shearling adds warmth where you want it.
