While we were big fans of the 1867 traditional black and red Canadian sweater we released back in 2023, we wanted to shake things up in 2026. Only two Olympic designs for Team Canada have ever strayed from the iconic red and white maple leaf - the 1920 Olympic Team and the 1948 Royal Canadian Air Force Olympic jersey.

With our 2026 design we chose to honor the latter. We took the 1948 concept and thoughtfully applied it to a sweater design. The iconic maple leaf is still showcased front and center, surrounded by shades of blue. The 1948 team itself has a surprising history led by a corps of amateurs and military personnel, and they found gold in the Olympics that year.

In honor of the team, and country, we are now releasing this design in all sizes S-XXL in our shop today!
