Third Assist's Take: This one stands out to us for a couple reasons. First, of all the tournaments we've highlighted so far this one may have the best name. Of course that's a critical factor in choosing what events to attend, but what really matters is how this tournament is set up and what it stands for. Building off the success of the first year of the tournament, the Boston Pride crew expanded the operation and is hosting it in a well-known pond hockey location: Lake Morey Resort right on the New Hampshire/Vermont border. Furthermore, this might be one of the most welcoming and inclusive tournaments on our list, evidenced by the draft style team structuring. So if you're looking to make some new friends and have a great time playing some pond hockey, this might be the tournament for you.

You can learn more about the weekend on the Boston Pride website: The Frozen Unicorn.
