Back with a new batch of custom watches for 2026-2027
Background: The concept of this product has been in the works for over three years. How can we showcase hockey history in a unique yet sophisticated manner? With this help of a watch craftsman we solved the puzzle on how to upcycle historic used hockey sticks into classic timepieces.
This limited edition watch is constructed using the iconic 1971 Hespeler Featherweight hockey stick employed by famous NHLers (Eddie Shore, Bobby Hull, etc.) and the public they inspired.
Why we chose this stick: Hespeler was once one of the dominant brands in the hockey industry and its name is synonymous with wood hockey sticks. This particular stick from 1971 marks one of the last years Hespeler produced this model before the company was bought by the larger Cooper-Canada in 1972. This particular model was designed in an era of wood stick optimization with manufacturers finding ways to drop ounces i.e. featherweight. This is one of our favorite stick finds this year originating in the small Canadian town of Hespeler, Ontario.
Limited Edition: Only 25 of this design are available for purchase based on the available wood material in the stick. Sticks come with a engraved wood watch box and simple card showcasing the watches place in the collection (#/25).
