Background: The concept of this product has been in the works for over three years. How can we showcase hockey history in a unique yet sophisticated manner? With this help of a watch craftsman we solved the puzzle on how to upcycle historic used hockey sticks into classic timepieces.
This limited edition watch is constructed using the iconic 1993 Koho Revolution Wood Hockey stick employed by famous NHLers and the public they inspired.
Why we chose this stick: For most of our sticks we chose a stick model to represent an iconic brand. This is one of the few instances where specific players also drove the selection of the stick and brand. When you think of the early 90s its not hard to imagine Mario Lemieux or Jaromir Jagr with their classic black and yellow Pittsburgh Penguins jerseys and matching black and yellow Koho Revolution sticks. We were able to source one of those stick designs from the same era and translate the design concept into a one of a kind watch.
