Our second ever genuine leather hockey glove model, new to the 2026 season.
The history: In a world of disappearing synthetic leather gloves, we were able to craft another genuine leather model this upcoming season. What makes it special? Here are the specifications of our first batch of the Wrangler model.
What's new? The new model has a slimmer, but beefed up cuff and thumb construction. Additionally cosmetic stitching has been updated for a more modern glove look. The best specs of our Frontier Model but using a premium genuine leather cowhide.
Adult sizes: 13-15" with traditional glove interior, synthetic palm, and four-roll construction
The Leather:
- 100% cowhide leather chosen for its durability and water-resistant properties. It's a little thicker and provides a smoother, more uniform grain than goat leather.
- Similar leather can be found in work gloves, boots, and jackets which makes for one of our most nimble leather hockey gloves
- The leather is finished in a process of tanning and sealing to give the aesthetic seen in photos
The logo: We chose to embroider the Third Assist logo on the cuff for a more premium feel vs screen print options
The feel: A black nash is used for the palm and gussets to keep a traditional feel.
Note on sizing: These are modeled after early 00s four-roll designs so they are slightly larger than more modern tapered fits. If you're on the fence re: sizing, we suggest sizing down.
